First off, we got everyone's favorite short, quirky rapper 7even:Thirty coming back home to Jackson for a special show Saturday night, April 9, at Hal and Mal's. This show is an afterparty for the Crossroads Film Festival and 7even will be rocking the stage with Taylor Hildebrand. Check out 7even's newest video for "Twenty-Eleven." Next, a lot is being said about Bib K.R.I.T.'s new mixtape, Return of 4eva, with words such as classic being thrown around quite casually. While it is a good record, it is out of the realm of this blog to discuss if it is a classic or not. But, we would like everyone to understand that K.R.I.T. is not the only person putting in down for Mississippi. Our state has a large number of amazing artists that rep our state hard. Don't sleep on them.
Our man ZeeDubb has hooked up a new podcast featuring Mississippi hip hop artists including SlimmPusha, Eclipse, Big Sant, Ulogy, Jackson & 7evenThirty, Trumpcard, Rashad Street, Smokin Aces, Yung Nut, Big KRIT and a collaboration from Rashad St., A.V., ZeeDubb, and James Crow. It's hot.
